The Simpsons latest sofa was on Thanos. The 30th Season Opening Sequence, the 12th episode that arrived on Sunday, saw Thanos from the Avengers series of films grabbing his fingers and turning Homer, Marge, Lisa and Bart into dust.
Maggie is rescued and his light hop on the sofa sits quietly at the worlds destroyer Thanos. We also see that Soul Stone is actually Maggie's pacifier. The Simpsons family was unsuccessful here, because four out of five non-animal animals got to the world average of one of two. Here is the sequence:
Disney buys most of Fox's assets, including the Simpsons, so there's probably no legal issue with Thanos in Springfield.
We'll see Thanos next to Avengers: Endgame, who arrives in theaters in April. It is expected that it will close the current Avengers storyline and the film should provide some discoveries and surprises in the way Avengers: Infinity War wrapped it.
