So I always see you, @therealstanlee: as our good leader and king, smiling from your eternal throne to the fantasy generations that you fed and inspired. You were the first creator whose voice I knew before I ever heard it. You dreamed of some of my favorite contemporary myths and created characters that inspired me to be a moral barometer, teaching me correctly of the wrong actions and showing that it is always better to become a hero, not a villain. Your characters represented us: yes, they had extraordinary, incredible abilities, but they were also reflections on the world we know where Spider-Man really is just a boyfriend who wants to help. You showed me how to interact with the audience when you go to Stan's Soapbox to connect with the readers. You showed me how to defend my field outside the real art itself when you start thumped on comic books outside of the medium. It's never been enough for you to just make a comic because you're a really serious vendor. So you not only sell comics but also sell comic strips to me – so much that I've come to understand and made my life and career ideal. When you filled up with Malrath with us, you not only filled the dream of a lifelong fan, but also entrusted me with a trusted comic book that I can still spend today. And whether it was @comicbookmanamc or @yogahosers, when I asked to regain warmth, you always had a smile. Your love story with Joanie and your long, happy marriage have always shone as an example of what I wanted for my personal life. I have long admired (and imitated) your kindness, patience and sense of humor when working with your community. Outside of my parents, you were one adult who gave me the most useful life skills that I still use today. Thank you, Stan, to make me not only a boy, but also a man who I am today. You had a lot of power and you always used it responsibly, promoting millions of dreamers who are all familiar with your name – the stars are written for the whole time. You were not only a literary titan of comic books, but also our contemporary Mark Twain. I will seduce you all my days, my friend and hero. Excelsior forever. #KevinSmith #StanLee
Comic book writer Gay Simone shared with her heartfelt experience with Lee calling her "real person" who changed her life every time she met with her.
The fans at the Hollywood Hall of Fame took the time to honor Leigh by handing flowers alongside his star. The flower crown, complete with a black sash and a golden comic book writer's name, was also shown.

R.I.P. Stan Lee We've lost creativity and industry titanium. These are my last photos of Stan, which Jon Bollerjack adopted in his home in August. I was summoned by The Man, he wanted a friendly face, a change in course. I had the next day. He was calm, comfortable and in good spirits. He sat in his favorite chair overlooking the pool and beautiful canyons. I thank him for being fantastic, not only creative, but a fantasy to Marvel Hollywood, knowing how well they will be served with tv and film. Children from the 1970s, children, my age, grew up with The Hulk TV show, live action "Spider Man" TV movies, Dr. Dear Film about CBS. It was a thrilling time, and it was the result of Stan's decision to travel west and introduce Marvel characters to Hollywood. He began Marvel Age of Comics, as well as Marvel Age of Film, which we enjoy today. I have a lot of history from my history and travel with Stan. We never had a better ambassador. And we will never see another similar to him. All I know is that the right ruler has pulled a chair and Stan is now putting all his ears in the sky with his amazing stories and history. They hang on his name and sentence. #stanlee #marvel #hulk #fantasticfour #xmen #spiderman #thor #excelsior
