Students with psychological difficulties are more likely to be self-destructive behaviors

According to Assoc. Dr. Huynh Van Son, at this time, the higher the school's psychological disturbance, the students in Vietnam face many psychological difficulties. Therefore, puberty children are self-employed self-help acts that become worthy of attention. This study finds a reason to find a way to prevent this phenomenon.

Self-destructive behavior involves a merciful, pessimistic thought of life, self-denial, a feeling that is suppressed by specific physical and clinical signs. Sometimes the theme does not recognize the theme.

The manifestation of this phenomenon is focused on behaviors such as neglect of health, life itself, refusal of protection (without helmet, life jacket …); self-adhesion, hair, leather, self-protection, self-leveling; Terribly silent does not express his feelings. Even more suicidal attempt, commit suicide.

The research team also conducted a survey of 1043 students in 7 Holstein City and Binh Duong Elementary Schools. The results of the study on the status of behavior revealed that 643 students (61.6%) had been subjected to negligence by demonstrating their lack of responsibility. In addition, 401 people are "pessimistic about life," the second largest (38.4%). Up to 149 students acknowledged that they "hurt themselves", accounting for 31.6%.

Of 1,043 students, the team searched 280 students who committed self-destructive behavior.

In particular, the self-destructive symptoms of the body are alarming at many and many levels, for example, hair loss was 18.2%; The bits themselves also accounted for 18.2%. The frightening thing is that self-convincing and self-assured behaviors exceed 35% in two levels and in many. Although something reaches almost 20%.

"We have had an in-depth study of a student who has a habit of shaking his head against a wall when something is wrong with parents and teachers. Touching your head with your hands can clearly see the traces, although covered over time, he's also deeply entangled," associate Dr. Huynh Van Son said.

"On the heaviest level there is one and very severe one and two students. However, taking into account the total number of 280 children, the ratio of almost 1% is still disturbing," said the Son.

Assoc.Prof.Dr Huynh Van Son also said that more agitated students in psychology, the easier self-destructive behavior that is easy to see in the sixth grade, students have first grade and grade 9 is the final grade of Preparatory Exams. However, this is not due to other pressures that they have self-destructive behavior, but in many cases they themselves expect too much of their self. Some children have attacked their friends, they are forced or imitated by emotions.

Namely, statistics show that individuals with self-destructive symptoms are usually targeted at good, medium and high school students. In particular, there are 99 excellent students, 110 good students, 51 secondary students. Also, the proportion of students who have good behavior and a relatively large number, but the proportion of students with average behavior, weak and lower, is almost negligible.

The team also proposed some preventive measures, including raising awareness of self-destructive behavior for high school students, teachers and, in particular, teacher counselors. In addition, they organize integrated life skills workshops to develop students' ability to cope with these behaviors. At the same time, there is a knowledge-based system and training that teaches students to "self-destruct" to regulate psychological conditions and address these behavioral stimuli.
