NASA presents new images of atmospheric phenomena in Jupiter

National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA, its acronym in English) revealed several new images of Jupiter, showing the clouds in this peaceful northern lagoon the planet.

"In the clouds of Jupiter, we continue to find new hidden forms"

Cinemas in the snapshots of Juno are seen in a series of bright white clouds, as well as an anticyclonic storm, known as a white oval.

The photographs were taken while Juno was approaching the "gas giants" during the sixteenth flight, while the space probe was seven thousand kilometers above the top of the planet's clouds.

Scientists Gerald Eichstädt and Seán Doran were responsible for creating the series using the JunoCam image generator data. "We continue to find new hidden shapes in Jupiter's rotating clouds," they reported after a report.

Recently The US space agency discovered several high-profile structures that crawled one after another while traveling through Jupiter.

This phenomenon, with greater concentration near the Martian equator, is known as atmospheric wave trains, consisting of two or more dozens of waves, which can be a distance between 65 kilometers long and up to 1,200 kilometers.
