The Schumer aide was forcibly squeezed out by "inappropriate meetings" with the staff

Director of Communications for the Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y. Was left behind from his role after mid-November elections as "inappropriate meeting" with staff, Fox News has learned.

"After he learned that he had inappropriate meetings in the office and that he had made uncomfortable staff, he was asked to leave," Schumer's spokesman told Fox News about Matt House, who served as a senator's communications director for almost six years.

There were no specific statements about the wrong behavior associated with the House.

In a statement in the New York Post, House said: “I absolutely loved my time working in the Senate, and it was the honor of my life. I deeply regret the mistakes I made about how many times I was drinking too much, and I apologize to anyone affected by my actions. ”

“I've always noticed all my colleagues and I was shocked to find out that I felt uncomfortable. Over the past three months I have stopped drinking and I am determined to become a better colleague and person, ”he continued.

According to his LinkedIn page, House previously served as a Schumer Press Secretary from 2011 to 2012. Before joining the Schumer office, the House worked for Sen-Sen. Joe Biden's 2008 Presidential Campaign.

In the past, Schumer has quickly commented when powerful figures have crossed the line with underlings. Together with other Democrats, he insisted that the former US Senate Al Franken, D-Minn, resigns after allegations of sexual abuse and the Senate Ethics Committee investigation.

The departure of Schumer's assistance was another testimony to the future Democratic HQs.

In December, US Senate Counselor Kamala Harris (D-California) resigned his investigation into a $ 400,000 harassment against him while working for the California Department of Justice.

In August, it was reported that the head of the spy Chinese spokesman Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif, was suspected of spying.
