A black man arrested for help in drunken neighbors at home

SILVER SPRING, Md. – The online video shows that a black man is arrested after he was walking drunk in a neighboring home.

Samir Ahmed told the news that he found a man who came to Silver Spring in Maryland this month and helped him get home. He says he came back to find Montgomery County police officers who want to help the drunk.

Judicial documents show that an official "discovered a strong marijuana smell that was released" from Ahmed, who denied having a drug and was opposed to arrest. The video captured by neighbors is shown by four officials, followed by Ahmed. Police say the officers found a small marijuana sack.

Ahmed was arrested for a fee, including for mistreatment and the date of the court in January. His lawyer says that officials from inside Ahmed's pocket could not smack unripe marijuana. Police declined to comment.
