If the next Sunday is the presidential election, then in the second round Petro Poroshenko would have lost almost all the candidates.
This is evidenced by the results of the Social Group Rating Survey of December 2018 commissioned by the International Republican Institute, and sociologists offered a couple of politicians in the second round and asked to support one of them. Boyko and Tymoshenko – Vakarchuk – would have won Tymoshenko – only Tymoshenko paired – Zelenska and Tymoshenko – Gritsenko, both candidates would have about the same chance to win.
The current president in the second round loses all candidates except Boyko. With a candidate from the "Opposition Platform" For Life, Poroshenko has the same opportunities to win.
The survey was conducted on 13 and 27 December 2018 across Ukraine (except the Occupied Crimean and Donbass Territories). The method of personal interviews at the respondents' homes interviewed 2,400 permanent residents from Ukraine who are over the age of 18 who have the right to vote. The error limit does not exceed 2%.
Earlier Strana reported that a quarter of Ukrainians will not participate in the presidential election after the poll.
US Ambassador Jovanovich also said Washington would support the presidential election in Ukraine.
