The Ministerial Consultative Meeting took place in Jordan, attended by Foreign Ministers of Saudi Arabia, UAE, Kuwait, Bahrain, Egypt and Jordan in the Dead Sea.
An informed source to Sputnik two days ago said that the most important issue to be discussed at the meeting of Foreign Ministers of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, UAE, Egypt and Jordan is the return of Syria to the Arab League.
"The Jordanian ministerial meeting may have a significant impact on the rest of the Arab League," said former Egyptian Foreign Minister Jamal Bayoumi. "The united states are influential states in the Arab League, especially with the size of Egypt. Jordan, which plays a role in the peace process."
Adding that "Syria's boycott and exclusion are not in the interests of Arab countries, and that there was a quick decision to vacate Syria at the university," pointing out that "the re-establishment of relations between Damascus and Arab countries will increase Damascus's return to university.
Bayoumi pointed out that "Arab reluctance to rebuild Syrian headquarters is due to the position of Arab leader Bashar al-Assad."
