Central foreign currency reserves declined



Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) total reserves of $ 914 million last week fell to 93 billion 333 million dollars.

According to CBRT's weekly cash and banking statistics, the Central Bank's gross foreign exchange reserves on 25 January dropped by $ 359 million to $ 73 billion, down 471 million. Gross foreign exchange reserves were $ 73 billion 830 million a week, ending January 18th.

During the period, gold reserves fell by $ 555 million from $ 20 billion to 417 million to $ 19 billion to $ 862 million.

Thus, the Central Bank's total reserves fell by $ 914 million over the previous week and dropped from $ 94 billion to $ 247 million to $ 93 billion to $ 333 million.
