His car got off the road and overturned, as reported by Vaudas canton police. A man who did not wear seat belts was thrown out of the car in the accident.
Seriously injured, a Swiss resident in the region was brought to the University Hospital of Lausanne. There he died later. An investigation into the causes of the accident was launched. (SDA)
