Soon after 10:00 on Saturday morning, Gothenburg heard a roar. The sound came from JAS 39 Gripen, which flown around the city. Manövern signaled that the start-up shot took place in obstacle race Tough Viking Slottsskogen – where some of the fleet staff in Såtenäs are taking part.
“Welcome to us and our colleagues tomorrow, Saturday, April 27, when we will lead the tough Viking in Slottskog, Gothenburg. We start at 10.10 and just before going with Jas 39 Gripen ”, wrote an airplane fleet on his Facebook page on Friday.
An annual event
Tough Viking takes place every year at Slottsskogen. The competition is the biggest, first and most challenging obstacle in the Nordic countries, according to the organizers' own website. Obstacles to the competition have been developed in cooperation with the Swedish Elite Association Kustjägarna.
Even last year, JAS took over Gothenburg in connection with the opening shot.
