The German airline Lufthansa will lay off 29,000 employees this year. Next year, another 30,000 will be forced to resign within the group, 10,000 of them in Germany, according to sources, the newspaper Bild am Sonntag reports.
According to the newspaper, Lufthansa expects travel before the pandemic to reach only in 2025.
Lufthansa will also sell the catering company LSG, which has 7,500 employees.
