Per Gessle & co announces both a new album and a farewell tour – 40 years after the band has come back. The journey begins on July 4 at home in Halmstad. On July 15, they arrive in Uppsala Botanical Garden.
40 years is a long time and it is absolutely fantastic that we and the group have managed to touch several Scandinavian generations. I'm lucky to play with the best pop group in Sweden. Anders, Mickes, Görans and Members' knowledge have given me endless opportunities to write powerpop exactly as I was a teenager, says Per Gessle in a press release.
The trip also follows the 2017 Idol winner Chris Kläfford.
