Lung cancer was treated with antibiotics

Ljubljana – the deceased attitude now Steve Petrović, who died at the end of 2013 after more than a year in the treatment of mistreatment of lung cancer in the Shepherd Hospital, Franco Derganca was negligent, unprofessional, and contrary to the rules of the medical profession, he found the Novo Mesto Regional Court after an uncontested judgment.

As we wrote before, a long-time smoker Petrovic helped General Hospital dr. For the first time Franz Derganc first detected a respiratory problem on July 10, 2012. The exact cause of the problem was not revealed, and he was told that further investigations are needed. In the next report, he received efloran in addition to amoxiclav, but he again contacted the doctor. Damjan Birtiču; He was hospitalized because he apparently received pneumonia. Treatment with new antibiotics did not help, bronchoscopy or some other studies were not performed, the patient described in detail in his statement two months before the course of treatment died.

Antibiotic treatment continued after he was discharged from the hospital, due to problems that arose in addition, the pulmonologist identified a week of antibiotics in October. In November 2012, he even told him that he had abscess and asked him to check the year. But due to acute pain, he went to the emergency room and a personal doctor who was sent in May 2013 to test the same pulmonologist earlier, but he sent an analgesic.

When the pain in June turned out to be unbearable, he went to a private pulmonologist, who, after an X-ray examination, immediately sent him to Golniku. After being hospitalized on July 9, he was diagnosed with less than a week: lung cancer with metastases in supraclavicular lymph nodes (in the bruising area), vertebra, skull and brain, and he was told terrible news that he remained only a few months out of his life. He died on the last day of 2013, at the age of 56 years. "Sometimes it seems to me that I dream, and I hope they will tell me that the last terrible diagnosis is wrong!" He wrote at the end of October 2013, two months before his death.

The Nova Gorica Regional Court has sued its relatives who claimed 354,000 criminal cases against Zavarovalnica Triglav, where the Šempeter Hospital has insured liability, but not entirely from the amount. According to Primorske's novice reports, three people were reimbursed to their relatives for more than 50 thousand losses, while relatives say their sentence is primarily moral satisfaction.

The Court found, inter alia, that proper diagnostic procedures should be carried out in the hospital in October 2012 and in November 2012. Although, despite the benefits of remediation of the inflammatory process, insisting on long-term smokers and patients with such altered lung problems, lung cancer should also be taken into account and diagnosed or transmitted to the appropriate specialized institution. The ordering of this patient for control only one year after the interpretation of the X-ray image of the lips is by no means correct, the court summarized the expert's opinion and concluded that the behavior of the doctors was unprofessional and illegal.

Pulmologist Birtič is supported in the criminal case on this case, as the prosecution is related to their abuse; the study is not yet complete.
