At the end of September, the amount of housing loans amounted to 26.5 billion euros. The volume of loans increased by almost 2.5 billion euros year-on-year. The euro, rising by the end of the month by 161 million euros. These are the current data from the Slovak National Bank (NBS).

Construction savings loans at the end of nine months amounted to EUR 2.38 billion with buildings and inter-loan loans. Since the beginning of the year, the Slovak regulator has adapted to the report on loan data.

The reason is the change in the legislation of mortgage banks and subsequent changes to the reports since the beginning of this year. So new times are not available for sub-categories of home loans.

As regards the share of individual banks in home loans, the majority of Slovenská sporiteľňa was 27.73 percent. In the future VUB with 20.38 per cent shares and third place Tatra Bank with a share of 14.3 per cent.

The largest investor was the largest savings bank in the building of investment loans. It was 82.75 percent. This was followed by other companies operating in Slovakia, namely Wüstenrot Building Savings Bank and ČSOB Building Savings Bank.
