It's like a dream, but it's important: eat everything you want – sugar, even carbohydrates!

Do you fight kilograms or do you want to lose weight? Then you need to know that sugar is not toxic and that a low carbohydrate diet is not healthier.

Do you really need to torture different diets and skip some types of food? New book: Eve Simmons and Laury Dennison "Eat It Anyway" denies anything you have ever thought about beauty and health.

Slightly famous ladies often highlight a wide variety of diets, bookstores and social media are very fond of losing weight. However, studies show that 97% of those who are restricting their diets to lose weight fail.

After completing the diet, they will return to the weight or get even more depressing. According to the authors of the book, they are the dark leaves of modern diet. In addition, Harvard University studies show that strict diet and prevention of some types of food contribute to the release of cortisol hormone.

Dietary obesity often ends with income disorder

And this is another very important negative side. The authors of the book point out that promoting such an exaggerated diet wherever we look can cause the risk of eating disorders.

Diet can easily avoid anorexia, bulimia or other modern disorders.

These are very serious psychological and physical problems that can end not only with long-term damage to health, infertility, chronic problems, but also death. So even a seemingly positive "obsession" with a healthy diet can end very badly.

There is no healthy or unhealthy diet

Ieva Simmons has overcome anorexia. The truth about nutrition was discovered by nutritionist Luci Daniel, who escaped the dangerous disease and started eating "normal".

This expert told her the truth: There is no part of the diet that we could call healthy or unhealthy. Each component of a balanced diet has its own role. It was the foundation that brought Eva with her friend Laura Dennison to write the book "Eat It Anyway".

The book has rejected some common and often promoted ideas about healthy eating:

All sugars are poison and should be avoided

In fact, adults should not consume more than 30 g (seven teaspoons) of sugar a day, as more sugar will worsen teeth and lead to weight gain.

It does not include sugars naturally found in fruits, vegetables and milk, because it is related to fiber and other health-promoting compounds in these foods.

"Many people eat too much sugar, so they should limit it. However, there is no need to avoid sugar altogether.

If we really avoid all the sweet foods, the result would be a lack of calcium and essential vitamins and minerals that are important for the functioning of bones, muscles and cells.

Another myth is the assumption that natural sweeteners – honey, agate and maple syrup are much healthier. The idea that one type of sugar is healthier than another is unhealthy.

If you want to lose weight, you should avoid carbohydrates

The low carbohydrate diet is now very popular. There are studies that confirm that a low-calorie carbohydrate diet can help obese obese diabetic patients improve their condition. But why should people keep them?

"There is no complete evidence that long-term avoidance of carbohydrates helps to level out … Low carbohydrate diet leads to energy loss but also nutritional deficiency.

The film itself needs 130 g of carbohydrate per day. In addition, ketone formation will cause your breath to nail polish, ”says Luci Daniel.

If you really can live without carbohydrates, you may not die, not the people who eat them. Why? Because foods containing carbohydrates are often also a source of fiber that stabilizes blood sugar and prevents intestinal cancer and obesity.

Plant alternatives to milk are better

Millions of people around the world today are avoiding milk, cream and cheese because they believe they are a problem with their health and weight. And for those who do not have lactose intolerance.

Food shelves are filled with different dairy alternatives, but do they deserve a really bad reputation for dairy products and products? It is assumed that saturated fat in dairy products increases blood cholesterol levels. However, the reality is that it only applies to the large amount of saturated fat consumed throughout life.

On the contrary, a recent study published in The Lancet magazine showed that kdaily dosing of dairy products reduces the risk of premature death, cardiovascular disease and stroke.

In addition, milk has many healthy properties, including amino acids, vitamin K, calcium, magnesium, and protein. All dairy products prove the functioning of the immune system – they act as probiotics.

Vegan is ideal for health

Over the last decade, the number of people not eating meat, milk and eggs has increased fourfold. Is vegan really healthier than a normal diet?

"Vegas is more health-oriented, they are more trained and come from the middle or high class.

All these facts are related to better health. Healthier do not have to be a diet but a lifestyle, ”explains dietician. It adds that it is very difficult to provide a balanced vegan diet with everything the body needs for health. Many young people who have gone through vegans have experienced serious eating disorders.

What is the Healthiest Diet?

"Eat with peace, eat lots of fruit and vegetables, drink more water. It's not sexy, but it's scientifically confirmed," says Luci Daniel.
