F1 confirms street races in Hanoi in 2020

HANOI • Vietnam will join the Formula One calendar in 2020 with street races in the capital of Southeast Asia's capital, Hanoi, yesterday announced by the F1 boss Chase Carey.

The Vietnam Grand Prix, which will be set up for the first time in April 2020, is the first new competition since Liberty Media bought the Commercial Registry.

The Honiya Championship round will be the fourth round of the calendar with Monaco, Singapore and Azerbaijan, with a 5,565-km run in the west of Hanoi.
