Newcastle United has completed the signing of Miguel Almiron from Major League Soccer by Atlanta United.
A 24-year-old man joins Magpie in a five-and-a-half-year deal that will see him in St James Park until 2024.
Almiron has been ranked twice in the MLS All-Star team and was selected by the MLS Best XI at the end of both seasons with the Georgian Club.
He will wear the championship number 24.
"I'm very happy and ready to start and meet my new teammates," said Almiron NUFC TV. "The league is very competitive, it's a historic club, and Rafa Benitez was the main reason I was here.
"I think it's a big responsibility, something beautiful to me, and I'll try to offer the best I can to pay back the trust the club puts on me."
