WASHINGTON – The American company Nikola produced a hydrogen powered electric motor and adapted it to the European market.
This company that manufactures electric trucks has already offered its trucks on the US market, and now it comes to Europe with a whole new model.
This new electric truck is called Nikola Tre and is adapted to European rules so that it can travel along the old continental roads, while the drive system is split into a US version.
The third one is powered by engines from 500 to 1000 HP, the autonomy is declared at 500-1200 kilometers. Nikola boasts a double-speed acceleration from classical diesel engines, but also a great deal of energy savings. This truck does not release harmful gas into the atmosphere.
The exact price of this electric car is not yet known, but it's already reserved, reports B92.net.
Nikola Motors started a lawsuit against Tesla at the beginning of the year, claiming that Tesla had stolen its patent.
