The "Christian Dior: Designer from Dreams" exhibition, which will invest in Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A) from February 2, will be the largest retrospective London ever dedicated to French fashion designer Christian Dior.
This is the renewal of the British Paris eventChristian Dior: Couturier du Rêve"will returnfashion designer story, as well as six art directors who followed him on the nail head.
The biggest V&A fashion show, as the one dedicated to Alexander McCan in 2015 will gather more 500 objectsincluding 200 haute couture works, but also accessories, fashion photos, movies, perfume bottles, make-up, illustrations, magazines and personal items.
The 18th-century gardens, travels and decorative arts are all topics covered by the label and its successive artistic directors Yves Saint Laurent, Marc Bohan, Gianfranco Ferre, John Galliano, Raf Simons and Maria Grazia Chiuri.
The London exhibition will include a section dedicated to Dior's passion British culture, his home and gardens, his Queen Mary inserts and her costumes from Savile Row.
