Air to Go – a program for less polluted journeys

Isn't the air you breathe too polluted? There are several sites and applications to check for air quality at home. Air to Go now focuses on two French regions.

Pollution, pollen, fine particles … air quality can quickly affect health. First of all, of course, for everyday comfort, but also for the longer term: some pollutants are responsible for serious illnesses. To enjoy the outdoors and continue outdoor activities without hesitation, the Air to Go program offers an air quality analysis based on location. And the idea is to be as accurate as possible to take the path that is least polluted.

For this purpose, Air to Go collects daily forecasts of Atmo Observatories in Rhône Alpes and Bourgogne Franche-Comté in Auvergne. The application is just located in Bourgogne Franche-Comté. Other indicators, such as weather conditions, potential pollutant emissions, or site topography, are also considered. By indicating a route to go on a bike to operate or, for example, on an outdoor trip, the app calculates less polluted routes. Just choose the right path!

Air to Go is available for free on Google Play Android and iTunes iOS. Maps are also available on the web.
