The staff of the Investigation Department of the TFR Transport Department began a preliminary investigation investigating the fact that the Black Sea Fleet was abolished in the Black Sea region of Gelendzhik in a traditional Russian regatta.
"When the weather deteriorated, wind gusts cut off part of sailing ships," says the department. "As a result, five people with minor injuries asked for help. The rest of the participant was not injured."
According to RG, on Monday afternoon at the beginning of the competition, which included children and teens, a strong wind rose. Several yachts were demolished at sea. According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, 10 boats could not return to the coast.
Aculieciniece says that some of them moved upside down. Patrol boats took all competitors to ensure safety in the regatta. Later it appeared that two children had hypothermia, and another had a facial trauma.
"A survey of witnesses and other testing activities is being carried out, aiming to determine all the circumstances. The decision of the procedure will be taken on the basis of the results of the audit," the investigation department added.
