Cancer – Oncology – Causes

Working at night increases the risk of cancer in women by an average of 19%.

According to the people's truth, this is the conclusion made by Chinese scientists.

A new study showed that women who regularly work at night have a higher risk of developing breast cancer than those who work during the day.

According to scientists, everything happens thanks to melatonin (the main tendon gland hormone, the regulator of everyday living organisms) – artificial light increases the amount of melatonin that can interfere with the internal "clock" that controls sleep. This hormone directly affects tumor growth in the case of breast cancer.

In addition, doctors believe that nocturnal lifestyle increases the risk of skin cancer by 41%, breast cancer by 32%, stomach cancer by 18%, and lung cancer by 28%. Affects night work and weight – those who work at night, 35% more suffer from obesity.

Recall that the staff of the World Cancer Research Foundation found that obesity greatly increases the likelihood of developing 12 types of cancer. Scientists have come to this conclusion on the basis of research on 17 types of cancers during the last decade. In total, more than 50 million people participated in the study.

Experts say that not only factors such as smoking, genetic predisposition, sedentary lifestyles, stress, infections, radiation and hazardous chemicals can cause cancer.

Scientists from the British Institute Francis Crick discovered that cabbage-based chemicals, in particular broccoli, could help maintain a healthy gastrointestinal condition and prevent colon cancer.
