The investigation of TVN's notes and the head of TVN revealed that the cows that had been slaughtered illegally were in a slaughterhouse near Warsaw. A few days later, 2700 kg of suspicious meat went to 10 EU countries, including Lithuania.
And the Lithuanian Food and Veterinary Service announced in a special statement about the import of almost 82 kg of beef imported from the factory, which the Poles withdrew their consent to operate. Beef was bought by two companies from Lithuania – Bidfood Lithuania and Krekenavos Agrofirma. The meat has not yet entered the market – it was in the warehouses. At the same time, Lithuania banned the sale of this part of the meat.
In the past, Slovaks said that meat from dead or sick cows came to restaurants and schools, the Portuguese ordered more than 200 kg of suspect meat to be eliminated, and the Swedes were looking for more beef that could enter their market.
