President Martin Vizcarra and Piura Regional Governor Reynaldo Hilbck on Tuesday at the inauguration of the Venate Bridge in Sullana, as part of the reconstruction works in the north.
The chair noted that the new infrastructure benefits not only the people of the region but also an important link with Ecuador. The bridge is 350 meters long and has a height three times larger than the previous one.

Moreover, he believed that reconstruction work in the north of the country should be a real change in the development of new infrastructure for the benefit of the population.
"Now we can assure that this work is what we want Piura and all the regions affected by El Niño Costero (the phenomenon), namely the various reconstruction with projects replacing the previous bridges, but with changes in the background, as we see in Venado the bridge, "said the head of state.
The work is estimated at 50 million halls, carried out by the Ministry of Transport and Communications (MTC), using the Reconstruction Authority with changes.
The MTC explained that the work would prevent the isolation of the inhabitants of neighboring cities, because in previous years this happened due to the rain caused by the Queados de Venados.
