Revenues from the Royal Norwegian Salmon dropped sharply

The Norwegian Royal Drop in the 3rd quarter of 2018 reports a profit after tax of NOK 152.46 million, compared with NOK 189.87 million in the same quarter last year.

Earnings per share ended at NOK 3.51, compared with NOK 4.38 in the same quarter last year.

The profit before tax was NOK 188.25 million, compared with NOK 221.79 million in the prior year.

Operating profit (EBIT) was NOK 168.56 million compared to NOK 158.82 million last year.

Operating income amounted to NOK 879.04 million compared to NOK 1 375.29 million in the third quarter of 2017.

"During the quarter, we are focusing on the construction of biomass and biomass at sea, rising by 71% from the end of the previous quarter, resulting in a reduction in slaughter quotas in the quarter. We have been experiencing a positive increase in production costs from the quarter before in the Nord region," said Charles Høstlund, Executive Director.
