Beijing, 10 November 2010 (Xinhua). China's largest online shopping holiday sales are projected to exceed $ 32 billion this year, according to a report released by App Annie, a global application market provider.
App Annie also predicted that shopping madness would lower the world record for mobile e-commerce sales.
Last year, China's e-commerce giant Alibaba Group launched a shopping festival on the Western market by downloading its AliExpress application, which grew rapidly in the United States and the United Kingdom.
The shopping spree, also known as the Singles Day or the Double 11, declines every year until November 11, and sales in 2017 will reach 168.2 billion yuan within 24 hours at the Tmall Global Shopping Festival.
