According to the Auto Guide, the CX-5 Signature's interior is lined with premium materials, including coco-brown-napas leather seat covers and Abachi trim. The signature version also features a seven-inch digital driver display, heated and ventilated front seats, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto Integration, heated steering wheel, 10 voice speaker Bose audio system, driver display and electric folding mirrors, among other things.
Under the bonnet, the CX-5 Signature will be equipped with a turbocharged SKYACTIV-2.5T four-cylinder engine that develops with 227 horsepower with regular gasoline and 250 horsepower super. There is also a revamped version of the Mazda Driving Dynamics software, G-Vectoring Control Plus.
However, there are no other data for other variations of the CX-5 that continue to use the SKYACTIV-G atmospheric engines. The 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, coupled with a six-speed manual transmission, produces 156 horsepower, while the 2.5-liter engine in other versions, with the exception of Signature, generates 187 horsepower. In addition, we are still waiting for the diesel engine promised by Mazda when the CX-5 was transformed into a 2017 vintage.
Prices for the 2017 Mazda CX-5 will be announced later.
