Electrification of over 500 inhabitants sites, ADB's 42.3 million euro loan to 259 486 inhabitants

The Bank's Board has approved this loan, which is being implemented for three years (2019-2021) and covers the expansion of medium voltage grids and connection in three northern districts. where the level of availability of electricity is lower than the national average, estimated at 59.5%.

They are in 247 locations electrified in the Savannah District at 85 locations Woroba Search Woroba and 94 inhabited areas Zanzana search Zanzana estimated number of direct beneficiaries 259,486.

At these sites, 23,549 connections will be made to households, schools and health care centers.

Public lighting furnaces will also be installed.

In addition to these beneficiaries, the entire population living in the surrounding areas will benefit from indirect projects in the project, in particular by improving the quality of public social services in these areas.

The same applies to small businesses, shops, workshops and processing plants, grain mills.
