KAJANG: For a man, a seven-man group was robbed by the SILK highway towards Kayan near Sungai Ramal Luar on 7 November, police said.
Kajang District Police Chief, Commissar Ahmad Dzaffir Mohd Yusoff, said that the police received an incident report this night. 11.09
"Initial studies have shown that a car belonging to a 30-year-old victim was hit by the rear with a male riding a motorcycle.
"The victim is pulled to check the damage in her car, as well as to check if the man was in order.
"At the same time, two men in another car near the motorcycle got into a victim's car, claiming to help, but one of them caught a woman's gold necklace before fleeing," he said today today.
Ahmad Dzaffir then said that four men on two motorcycles went to the victim's car and opened the front passenger door.
Before escaping to Semen, the suspects held the victim's valuables. The investigation also showed that all suspects are locals.
"The modus operandi of the group is still being investigated," he said, adding that the victim did not suffer any injury.
He said that the thing that has become a virus in the field of social media has raised concern in society.
"The police seriously perceive every crime and this case is being investigated. We are actively looking for suspects."
