The Lithuanian astrophysical Olympiad in China won the bronze medal



Ignas Juodzbalis, participant in the 12th International Astronomy and Astrophysics Olympiad, returns with the China-Beijing bronze medal.

The Lithuanian Department of Informal Education (LMNESC) astronomy has deepened the twelve-year astronomical knowledge of the Vilnius lichen, its teacher Aurelija Visockiene.

Lithuania was also represented by Paulina Dainora Erichsmeier (teacher Tomas Kivaras) and Vilnius Licensed Elementary School, Ignas Mačiulis (teacher Aurelija Visockiene), member of the Lithuanian National Pedagogical Academy, astronomical member of the Kaunas Technical University Gymnasium.

The team was accompanied by a professor at the University of Vilnius (VU). Jacob Sudejis and MSU researcher dr. Vidas Dobrovolskas.
