Sayegh presented the issue of reforms in the energy sector with World Bank officials

MP Faysal Al Sayegh, Member of the Parliamentary Labor and Energy Commission and Member of the Democratic Assembly, presented several energy officials with the World Bank to the House of Representatives to discuss energy sector reform and institutional work on electricity reform in Lebanon.

The meeting was attended by Zafer Nasser, Secretary-General of the Progressive Socialist Party, and Eng Mohammed Basbous, Party Leader Member.

Lillian Pinters, Senior Energy Advisor and Tom Meron Hut, Project Director for International Initiatives and several experts attended the World Bank meeting.

During the meeting, they discussed the realities of Lebanon's electricity sector and the types of sectoral reform that require courageous measures in a number of industries.

The party delegation presented participants with the vision of the progressive socialist party in the electricity sector and a review plan that has already been highlighted at this conference, which included a comprehensive reform policy that included a number of measures. He emphasized that this issue has continued with the formation of the new government and the continuation of comprehensive reforms in this sector.
