On Saturday, April 27, the annual Big Talc takes place in almost 1,400 locations across Latvia.

According to the organizers, about 500,000 participants have participated in the ten-year-long work in the Big House, and the Latvians have also helped in other countries of the world. The amount of waste has more than halved compared to 2008; The 2018 service had already halved compared to 2017.

This year, the ceremony of the opening ceremony took place on the 11th November Embankment near the sculpture of the Great Kristaps.
