Eco-friendly lifestyle becomes our daily life! – Adverbs

Green economy experts and green lifestyle supporters will be looking for solutions for the sustainable development of Latvia in the next century, already on November 21 at the Green Expo Riga 2018 International Exhibition Center in Ķīpsala, the first green economy festival introductory event. If you want to continue to live in green Latvia, do not stand aside and participate!

"So far, the global community has used the nature of the given bounty ruthlessly and short-sighted. The world is now looking for a new, green economy model, in which society's needs and well-being are ensured without harming the environment. And it is also critical for Latvia to set goals for development in the next century, so that modern education and technologies in our country, production of niche products and developed exports would be environmentally friendly, "said Janis Brinkmanis, Director of Green Expo Riga 2018.

On November 21, everyone is invited to attend the event throughout the day and participate in discussions on the planning of national policy strategies, informed consumption and zero-waste (non-waste) lifestyle, modern mobility and cycling development in Latvia, balancing and sorting, as well as bio-economy. From the very morning, politicians Ilmārs Dūrītis, Edgars Tavārs, Vents Armands Krauklis, Ervins Labanovskis, Kaspars Gerhards, Talis Linkaits and Uģis Rotbergs will address the ideas of the development of the green economy. Swiss architect urban planner Rolf Läuppi will discuss with the Latvian experts on modern mobility and the organization of deliveries. Several experts nominated by the Nature Protection Board will outline the challenges of nature and people's lives. Ilze Neimane and Jan Simanovska, the founders of the Marka Soloshenko Foundation and the Ecodesign Competence Center, will discuss packaging and eco-labeling in the debate on smart consumer shopping. Green ideas will help create Vita Jaunzeme, Gunters Pauli, Vija Kilbloka, etc. for the new century of Latvia. For detailed program see www.bt1.lv/greenexporiga.

After discussions, until 9pm the event will continue with Radio NABA's thematic interviews, conversations and music. The talks will be led by Sanit Riben, head of Radio NABA program "The Nezale", and Sandris Ādminis, head of the program "Zootehnikums". Well-known experts in the field of greening will be interviewed in the direct line: Janis Brizga, Elgar Felcis, Andrejs Briedis, Lāsma Ozola, Santa Zarāne, Edmunds Cepuritis, Inese Vaivare, Anrijs Tukulis, architects and cyclists Oto Ozols, Viesturs Silenieks and Reinis Liepiņš. In the end, Latvia's taste will be shared by Astrīde Rozīte, Reinis Pļaviņš, Walter Zirdziņš and Martins Barkāns.
