Israeli police said on Thursday that they would prosecute six suspects: Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's lawyer, loyal and relative David Shimron; Former Israeli Navy Eliezer Marom Commander; Avriel Bar-Yosef, Former Deputy Head of National Security Council; Brig-Gen (res.) Shai Brosh; Former Minister Mody Zandberg; and David Sharan, a former prime minister's office.

The conclusions issued by the police on Thursday are as follows:

During the period concerned Avriel Bar-Yosef Director of the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee of the Knesset and later Deputy Head of the National Security Council. Police suspect that Bar-Yosef helped Miku Ganor Eliezer Marom, to become a representative of the German corporation ThyssenKrupp Israel, replacing former spokeswoman Shaike Barkat. Marom received money from Ganor, hiding consultancy services that were allegedly provided by Ganor and reached 600,000 Norwegian Queens.

Bar-Yosef may have acted under its responsibility to promote submarine procurement and received a fee from the company directly or through its closest collaborator and friend Shai brosh.

Brosh, a private entrepreneur during the relevant period, deliberately introduced Bar-Yosef so that he would act as an intermediary between him and Ganor in an underwater purchase transaction, rather than discouraging the connection between them. Ganor and Brosh signed an agreement of € 120,000 intended to cover the bribe money transfer to the police suspect.

Bar-Yosef, Brosh and Marom are suspected of bribery, fraud and misconduct, as well as an agreement to commit a crime. Brosham and Marom will also have to defend themselves against money laundering and other smaller payments.

David Shimronusing his status and close ties to the prime minister and public officials, is suspected of acting on behalf of Ganor as a representative of the German corporation in order to facilitate the transaction between Israel and the corporation. Shimron probably received a NIS 270,000 gradually "opens the door" and affected state employees to promote Ganor's submarine business. Payments were identified as "reward for success."

Police will suspect shimron bribery and money laundering.

Former Minister Modi Zandberg claimed that Ganor has promoted entrepreneurship as a representative of the German corporation in Israel, while serving as chair of the United Arab Appeal (Keren Hayesod). Zandberg probably also used its past and present positions in front of Ganor's "open doors" and received information from employees and elected officials in connection with underwater deals. In exchange Zandberg received NIS 100,000 from Ganor for several payments.

Police suspect that David Sharan, acting under the leadership of the then Minister of Finance Jules Steinitz and later as the Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister's Office, also supported Ganora's interest in submarine deals and received NIS 130,000 from 2013 to 2016. Payments were made using operators located near Sharan to hide the link between the two.

In addition, Sharan suspects that in 2012 Steinitz campaign funds will be raised.

Zandberg and Sharan are accused of bribery, fraud, and loyalty. Sharana also has a conspiracy to commit crimes, money laundering and offenses under the Electoral Law against him.
