The Irish institute, which is Christy Moore, will head ahead next summer to participate as the main airplane on the Cork Live Live Marquee series.
The beloved singer and songwriter will be on Saturday, July 6th, with tickets to be sold on Thursday, November 15 at noon. 9:00, using Ticketmaster and regular websites all over the country.
Moore is preparing for a busy period, as several dates have already been approved on Dublin Vakaru Street in December and January.
The Cork gig will be of particular importance since the only recent "Sail on Jimmy" was registered at Marquee earlier in 2018.
"I just love singing Albert's Nile song," says Moore.
"More than anyone else, it has become an instant hit with audiences everywhere. We wrote this version of The Markquee in Cork in June.
"Until the end of the third choir, there were 4,000 people who had never heard before the song, which was a joyous and memorable moment, a 52-year-old quarrel."
