Lamborghini has revealed its future racing car based on the Urus SUV, the all new ST-X!
Lamborghini decided to showcase what its racing district – Lamborghini Squadra Corse, after the first unique scrapbooking delivery history in SC18 Alston, can do with the recently launched Urus. And the result is … well … as expected, it's pretty polite! And here it is a completely new concept for the Lamborghini Urus ST-X. Basically, a SUV for racing, the new super Urus, as it's called social media, is geared up for a series of rally racing series that the Italian car manufacturer is about to launch in the near future. The Urus ST-X package has the same amount of energy compared to the production version, but is much lighter.

In fact, weight reduction is absolutely an array! The new Lamborghini Urus ST-X still has the exact same twin turbo V8 engine that produces a maximum of 641 hp and a maximum torque of 850 Nm. The car will be used in a series of races, which will be debuted in 2020 with targeted racing tracks in the Middle East and across Europe.

Modifications include a new carbon fiber hood with massive air intakes, full racing exhaust, and massive rear wing. The Lamborghini Urus ST-X also packes FIA-approved and racing steel coil cages as well as an approved fire protection system and a larger FT3 special fuel tank. The Lamborghini also has 21-inch center locking wheels with Pirelli tires, as well as a slightly increased suspension setting that can move on to the possible bumps and bad surfaces that this car will handle during the race. And to cover this, the car is painted on the special Verde Mantis Livery.
