Deli air quality becomes heavy

Air quality in Delhi became serious after Monday evening, as the level of pollution again increased due to adverse weather conditions, even if the contaminating controller forcibly recommended the introduction of heavy vehicles to the city and carry out construction works only from noon. 6:00 to 6:00.

The Supreme Court, which appointed the EPCA, also allowed entry only into the towns along the Deli border when entering the city, assuming that the situation came to itself with more than 1000 truck owners who became "hard", while pointing out that they would be released from tax on payment of a fee or environmental compensation payment (ECC) from noon. 11:00 noon 12am to 1pm 7.00

They said, by facilitating the charging of ECC, trucks can move without stopping, which will reduce congestion and reduce pollution. However, the Environmental Pollution Control Authority (EPCA) stated that due to the deterioration in air quality, new lorries would not be allowed to enter the country's capital.

schedule

The entry ban was imposed on heavy vehicles from 8 November to 11 November, but the agency designated by the Supreme Court later extended it on a day basis, based on the recommendations of the CPCB Working Group reviewing the air quality of the state capital.

According to KNAB, the total air quality index (AQI) in the national capital was 406, which is in the heavy category.

On Monday, PM2.5 (air particles with a diameter of less than 2.5 micrometers) was recorded 263 times, while PM7 (particles in air below 10 micrometres) was recorded 457 times.

According to the KNAB, Ghaziabad, Faridabad, Greater Noida and Noida added high air quality in nineteen areas of the Canadian airspace, but 17 were very poor air quality, while Gurgaon improved the situation when AQI was in a moderate category.

AQI from 0 to 50 is considered "good", 51 and 100 are "satisfactory", 101 and 200 are "moderate", 201 and 300 are "bad", 301 and 400 are "very poor" and 401 and 500 are "hard" "

The air quality and weather forecast system (Centreur), using satellite imagery, showed a moderate increase in fires from straw, which causes Delta to produce 7 percent of PM2.5 pollution. The dipping of air quality by the Authority was due to adverse weather conditions, such as low wind speeds.

SAFAR said the situation will probably continue on Tuesday, but will remain in a very poor category.

"The fodder effect is still due to the nominal slow transport height of the winds," said.

EPCA chairman Bhure Lal said to the Joint Police Commissioner (for traffic) that all lorries would be allowed to enter the city at the head of the state, but they would not be asked to stop and pay a toll or environmental compensation (ECC) from noon. 11:00 noon 12am to 1pm 7.00

"By simplifying the payment of tolls to the ECC, trucks can move without stopping, which will reduce congestion and reduce pollution," said SDMC, in order to issue the necessary orders to avoid charging ECC or Toll for this limited period, "the letter says.

However, he also said that the city will not be allowed to enter new vehicles, and the Delhi police will increase the workforce at all entry points to ensure that there is no congestion.

"We will continue to restrict the use of high-speed vehicles and other high-speed vehicles on the roads and on other roads," said the letter.

At the same time, the KNAB-led working group announced on Monday that bikes and public works in Delhi will be allowed only from noon. 6.00 to 6.00 to avoid bad pollution at night.

Among other things, the group of members of the CPCB, Delhi Pollution Control Board and the Haryana Pollution Control Board made recommendations, among other things, for low emissions, low temperatures and high night-time humidity.
