Katalin Szili: The Left is not a party in society

Former socialist politicians criticized the activities of the left parties. Katalin Szili spoke at a conference in Budapest in which he believed that the left was not affected. According to the Prime Minister, the crisis on the left involves a lack of uniform and contradictory principles.

More than 26 percent of the votes have been defeated in determining the total list for the left wing parties in the 2014 elections. Four years later they again lost their popularity. The MSZP dialogue and Democratic coalition support, with 17 percent, is virtually limitless.

The left-leaning downturn has already started for a long time, said Katalin Szili, former chairman of the MSZP, at the conference on the situation of the Left parties. According to the current prime minister's mandate, socialists have started to reject the referendum on dual citizenship in 2004, which was ultimately unsuccessful. The former speaker said that the left-wing crisis is also the reason why it does not create unified and contradictory principles.

According to the head of the Observatory, the MSZP and the DK gave a poor response to migration, so they were diverted from the new masses. According to Mr Sámuel Ágoston, Mráz, the Hungarian left wing parties can not participate in the political contest in front of the ruling parties.
