Over the years, this shape has been transformed into the fact that the front of the car has a traditional grille, and the headlamps previously linked to the graphic are already connected to the brightly lit LED line. The EVA design kit is specially designed for electric models, with which the meter and the wheelbase can be freely adjusted so that the maximum battery size can be reached between the axles below the floor.
EQC will start with a capacity of 80 kilowatt hours, but according to engineers it will reach 110 kilowatt hours in the near future. The front and rear axles also have 204 horsepower electric motors, so 408 horsepower has system power, 765 nm – system torque. It is 5.1 seconds at 0-100 km / h, the maximum speed is electronically limited to 180 km / h and the bench standard range is over 450 kilometers. Up to 120 kilowatts of DC charger could be powered by batteries, but today there are still 50 kilowatt battery chargers. The ice-cooled built-in charger is 7.4 kilowatts that can feed fast, especially with a Mercedes-Benz wall charger.
An economical ride support system tells you when you start to take your foot from the accelerator pedal to achieve the exact speed at the end of the acceleration and increase the energy recovery if it is inclined. Mercedes-Benz does not want to be the first rider to accelerate with its electric car, but rather to spread the traditional brand value, for example, making the steel springs particularly comfortable. Its 2425 kg body weight helps eliminate obstacles, with 650 kilograms of batteries.
Like the latest brand models, two large-scale monitors have a control panel, and of course the MBUX digital assistant is on board. In Norway, EQC-type orders are already received by dealers with payments of 20,019 kronor, with nearly seven hundred thousand forints and a total purchase price of about 23 million forints.
