At a meeting held at the MSZP, Bertalan Tóth, chairman of the Budapest State Parliament, party leader MSZP, said that most Hungarian voters supported Hungary's EU membership.

He added that they are struggling for the forces that are working to remove EU influence in order to lessen the Union's decisions.

Gergely Karácsony, co-chair of the dialogue, was pleased that the Socialist Democrat Committee had assumed the "vast majority" of the "Independent States Union".

He explained that the dialogue dialogue on Sunday had a similar proposal and, as co-chairman, he said that they would continue to work with the MSZP.
