According to an initial study by the Athenian National Observatory Geodetic Institute, an earthquake with 3.6 degrees Richter scale was recorded at 03:13 in the maritime area off the coast of Zakynton.
The epicenter of the earthquake was 50 kilometers northwest of Zakynthos.
Its focal depth was estimated at 5 km.
