Tokyo – Prosecutors in the capital Tokyo have suspended Nissan Motor Co.'s President Carlos Ghosn for alleged involvement in financial irregularities, announced the Japanese Broadcasting Corporation.
The company filed an apology with a statement issued before the arrest.
"We are very sorry that shareholders and stakeholders are very concerned, we will continue to work on discipline and compliance issues and take appropriate measures," the company said.
