Chilean Foreign Minister Roberto Ampuero announced to the President of the National Assembly, Juan Guaidó, and President-in-Office to express his support after arbitrary detention.

"I just held a warm and emotional telephone conversation with President of the National Assembly Guaidó. I fully supported Chilean President Sebastian Piñera and our ministry. He told me how he was arrested today and that he still felt the unrighteous woes of his wife," Ampuero wrote in your Twitter.

The Foreign Minister confirmed that he was admired by the Venezuelan civil democrats

"I expressed my admiration for the struggle and civic courage of the Venezuelan Democrats, and I was convinced that Chile, the Lima Group and the international community were with them. We will redouble our efforts to help peacefully resolve the crisis," he said.

Ampuero stressed that he was hoping to meet Guaido soon in "democratic and free Caracas".

On Sunday morning, Guaidó went to an open town hall in Karaballeda, Varga, where the Bolivarian National Intelligence Service (Sebin) officials detained a vehicle where he traveled. This moment was captured by a video recorded by a citizen from a vehicle.

Nearly an hour after the arrest, the deputy was released, attended a meeting with citizens and offered a speech.
