"I just want to thank everyone that, in the last 40 years, the Rocky family has the heart. I have the greatest privilege to create and interpret this important character," he explained in a video description. "Although it spoils my heart, unfortunately everything is happening … and ending. I love you all kind and generous people, and most beautiful thing, Rocky will never die when he lives with you," he added.
In the video, Stallone said that Creed 2 "is probably my last rodeo" and explained that initially he thought the Rocky story had ended with the 2006 film. However, he stressed that he was given the opportunity to change the story, Go to the new generation and face new challenges.
