Part of the leading smartphone manufacturers has kept accessory sleeves by the end of 2018 if there are not enough phones and news this year. If on the second day we were somewhat thoughtful teaser from Huawei, now it's Lenovo, promising news for the month that begins tomorrow, showing us Lenovo mobile phone with a hole on the screen.
At the beginning, we pointed out the year after year as a perforated screen (to close the front camera and not to use a notch to grapple the millimeter frame on the screen). But if Lenovo finally comes up with, or Samsung or Huawei do, it seems that next December we will begin to see these designs already functioning.
Hole, triple camera and 5G
The first intention of Lenovo was the Huawei style, with the official poster we received from Weibo (and Gizmochina), suggests that what we will soon show is a mobile phone with a boring screen. In this case, it's the Lenovo Z5, whose exact date of submission has not yet been confirmed, but has explained that it will be this December.
This coincides with some leakage cases that we have already seen on Lenovo's mobile phone with a frameless screen and hole center. In this way the manufacturer would have chosen symmetrical design Instead of rolling the drill that led us to see Huawei with what would be Nova 4 or Samsung, it seems to point to the Samsung Galaxy A8 that we saw a few days ago.
Some specifications have been leaked from the Lenovo Z5, thanks to the information that passes through the TENAA certification during the leak. We saw that it would be the first smartphone with Snapdragon 8150 or 855 (that is, Qualcomm's next high-end processor), which is important because it could support the 5G network and match what Lenovo's vice president Chang Cheng said in the summer (also denying that the mobile phone was the Lenovo Z20 Pro, since the new model would be Lenovo Z5).
In addition to the processor that TENAA allows us to see, it will be a mobile phone with triple-back camera and an LED flash that will be integrated into the filtered images in a design similar to the Huawei P20 Pro. The screen would have a 6.3-inch panel, a rear fingerprint reader (and no built-in screen) and a 3.218 mAh battery, all in a 156.7 x 74.5 x 7.8 mm chassis.
December promises a lot of holes
Although posters only talk about December, as we have said, with gossip techie we are talking about a specific date: December 4th. Life coincidence (or not) is the foreseeable date when you need to know the new Qualcomm processor that we mentioned in this Lenovo Z5 so that it can be a double statement. The day after I learned something more about Huawei's proposal, which promised to provide more information on Day 3 (that is, we have an interesting week).
At the moment, Huawei, Samsung and Lenovo seem to enjoy at least the design of the holes that we are already seeing with some patents. On the other hand, there are possibilities that have already been shown to Xiaomi by Mi MiX 3 and its slider, Oppo and its Find X with a removable module or Live with a similar NEX proposal, the repetition of which would obviously have chosen another course by implementing a dual screen and replacing the front the camera.
Will next week we see mobile phones with an open screen? Will all these designs be practical? Prepare the popcorn, gentlemen, it's getting more and more interesting.
