According to the Wrestling Observer Bulletin (Subscription Request), it was discovered that there is information available on the updated NXT UK contract situation. With news coming out of the NXT British talents who receive different levels of contracts and that the big stars do not compete outside their brand, Dave Meltzer reports that WWE's deal with different UK promotions allows them to "buy and stop" promotions if they wanted
"Part of WWE's work contracts initially offered and agreed that WWE, if it chooses, would have the right to acquire companies at a concerted price (at least six figures in at least some cases) over the next few years, and then, in order not to compete" with themselves "with the idea, what will happen when these markets are running full time charts. "
WWE has now signed an employment contract with PROGRESS Wrestling and the Scottish Insane Championship. Both campaigns often use the NXT UK top stars as well as the SmackDown superstar Killian Dain. Earlier, it was reported that a list of "non-competition" promotional activities was discovered, although IMPACT Wrestling was not part of it.
Existing NXT UK stars, including WWE British champion Pete Dunne and Tailer Bateam, were allowed to participate in the Destiny Wrestling competition, although this would not be for streaming live and only for the audience.
