GTA returns to deep freezing and is expected to remain cruel within a week.
Environment Canada on Tuesday issued an extremely cold warning to Toronto and the rest of GTA.
The National Time Agency said the windmill would be between -30 and -35 in the next couple of days.
Conditions are expected to improve on Friday as lighter air will move.
There will be sun on Wednesday, but it will not be enough to heat the temperature. 680 NEWS meteorologist Jill Taylor said the highest would be 17 C, but feeling like -30 C with the wind. Windmills will come to -32 overnight.
The cold phase will continue on Friday morning with a temperature of -20 ° C, but it will warm up during the day.
