Denis Villeneuve star filled Dune continues to grow. New message says Zendaya (Spider-Man: Far from home) is negotiating to join the latest adaptation of Frank Herbert's classic work.
Colleague Reports Zendaya is in talks to play Chani, a Freman soldier who eventually becomes a member of Paul Atreides (Timothée Chalamet). (The Hollywood reporter also followed his story.) Atreides first met Chani after he and his mother (Rebecca Ferguson) escaped from Arrakeen and joined the desert dwellings in Arrak. She has never seen her before, but she knows who she is – after he has several visions.
As far as the rest of the cast, in addition to Chalamet, we recently learned that Oscar Isaac is in conversation with the star as the father. Dune will also be Charlotte Rampling as Reverend Mother Mohiam, Stellan Skarsgård as Baron Harkonnen and Dave Bautista as his nephew.
No release date published Dune but you can catch Zendaya Spiderman movie: Far from home July 5
