Great, twisted clouds in Jupiter's North Beach soft belt taken in the picture.
(NASA) – Jupiter's dynamic North-North Temperatures belt contains many beautiful, cluttered clouds captured in this picture from the NASA Juno spacecraft. Several bright white "poppy" clouds appear on the stage, as well as an anticikonical storm, known as a white oval.
This color enhancement image was taken at. 13:58. PDT on October 29, 2018 (at 16:58 EDT), when the spacecraft carried its 16th flight with Jupiter.
At that time, Juno was about 4,400 miles (7,000 kilometers) from the peaks of the planet, about 40 degrees north latitude.
Researcher Gerald Eichstädt and Seán Doran created this image using data from the JunoCam imager.
Unprocessed images of JunoCam are available to the public to capture and process them in these images.
